I am looking for a Derringer for CCW. I have read a lot of good and bad things about Cobra, and a lot of good things about Bond Arms. There is a significant difference in price....Bond Arms derringers are twice as much. Has anyone here actually shot a Bond Arms? Are they worth the 3-400 price tag? And, just out of curiosity...are Cobras really that bad?


I was thinking about getting some .410 sabot's for my 4 1/4" Bond Arms Derringer in the hopes that it would kill a black bear, I go hiking in the backwoods of WV a lot and would like some protection.

I am interested in buying one in .45 Colt. I would like to know what the sights are like, how accurate they are, how the trigger pull is, how easy/fast they are to reload, and how the general quality is.
